Objectives

To promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of Green Street Green and the surrounding area the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the condition of life of the said inhabitants.

Activities

Owns and manages the Greenwood Centre for use by local organisations and residents at reasonable rates.
Organises events - talks, quizzes, social gatherings - for local people.  The charity has over 600 associate members for whom we produce and deliver quarterly newsletters to promote community engagement.

The Village Society Committee is the community arm which fosters links with Bromley Council and other local authorities and organisations, ensures Green Street Green maintains its village environment and campaigns for improvements and preventing unwanted developments.
Provide a small funding pot for young people with musical or sporting talent and pet owners unable to afford vets’ fees.
Provide free use of the Centre for local charities supporting those with disabilities and a local GP surgery for providing vaccinations.
