Our objectives
The Objects of the organisation is for public benefit:
2.1 To promote and improve the access to mental health care to those within higher
education and the workplace. This is and now will be known as (“The Purpose”).
2.1.1 To advance research on the efficacy and improvement of Mental Health Services in
higher education and the workplace.
2.1.2 To promote and champion mental health awareness in higher education and the
workplace.
2.1.3 To teach and train members in Mental Health First Aid to be applied in
environments such as higher education and the workplace.
2.2 To positively impact those who suffer from poor mental health in higher education
and the workplace. This is and now will be known as (“The Beneficiaries”)
This matters as No official Mental Health Standards or Policies exist anywhere on the planet. So what we are doing sets a precedent making sure whomever is suffering from ill mental health is able to get access to clear pathways to get the help they need to get better.
Our activities
Grae Matta Foundation is dedicated to improving mental health in higher education and the workplace by developing and influencing organisational policy. To make organisational policy more accessible to the wider community it looks to serve, the Foundation is working alongside standard agencies to create Mental Health Standards for Industries. Within the Standards will be the Framework of what a Sustainable Mental Health Service will look like.
The first Standard we are writing is for the Higher Education Sector.
