The Sea Cadet Corps exists to provide young people with life skills in a safe but challenging and fun nautical environment, using the ethos and values of the Royal Navy to develop characteristics such as leadership, teamwork, respect, courage.
We provide nautical training, both on and off the water, teaching practical skills and nurturing development. Specifically, we teach sailing, rowing, power boating, kayaking, paddle boarding during summer months, and classroom theory in winter. We offer Duke of Edinburgh, BTEC and GNVQ to national certification.
