Cultural Co-operation
Charity
National - England
Our objectives
Cultural Co-operation is an arts charity that was set up as a charity in 1988
Our vision – To diversify the arts and heritage workforce in the UK and to make an impact on programmes and audiences
Our mission – To champion the best in diversity arts practice and to offer workbased career development for artists, curators and producers; to provide showcases of the best in diverse arts through our arts festivals and to connect and enhance opportunities for artists through our networks
Our activities
- We run high quality, innovative programmes which provide training opportunities for people from backgrounds that are under-represented in the arts & heritage workforce and which helps institutions in those sectors to become more diverse and inclusive
- We link artists from different cultural backgrounds with each other and with arts and heritage institutions, and to foster collaborations that reflect society’s cultural mix
- We take the results of these collaborations ‘beyond the doors’ of those institutions and showcase them to the wider public.
