Our objectives
Creative Culture South West (CCSW) is an Exeter-based arts and heritage initiative, whose key goal is to encourage involvement in the local arts community.
By nurturing engagement we aim to build innovative ways to help people interact with the acts by creating more accessible pathways which enable people to develop skills and become active participants.
Even though we encourage all people to interact with the arts, we place a specific emphasis when possible on those who have been marginalised by the community, are socially isolated, or in need of ways to express themselves.
Our activities
Through a combination of education and events programming CCSW has successfully enabled people to both develop skills and become actively involved in the arts community. This has been achieved by tailoring the education programming to tie together with opportunities to perform (acting, comedy, performance poerty), become a published author or develop their filmmaking and scriptwriting,
