Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses is a vibrant community garden situated in the centre of Brockwell Park.   

Our one-acre site is a thriving hub of volunteering activities and educational initiatives.

Activities

The BPCG charity is committed to enabling a diverse range of local residents, schools and visitors to increase their knowledge, improve their wellbeing and to create greener communities.

 

The Greenhouses offers:

  • Activities for schools to help children learn about healthy-eating, nature and growing plants

  • Opportunities for volunteering and gaining new skills

  • Training and education courses and drop-in sessions

  • Tailored activities for children and adults with learning disabilities

  • A plant nursery growing and selling plants at affordable prices to the general public, local community gardens and schools

  • Organised community events and projects which bring together different cultures, faiths and cooking styles

  • A safe, beautiful, caring open space for volunteers and visitors to enjoy
