Our objectives

Aspire Skills Development CIC is a community-led organisation working to end single homelessness in Redbridge and beyond. We support individuals who are often excluded from traditional housing systems—such as those with no recourse to public funds (NRPF), care leavers, survivors of abuse and people navigating mental health challenges.

To meet our objectives, we deliver a four-part approach:

  • Prevent homelessness through early intervention and advocacy;
  • Respond with crisis support and emergency accommodation;
  • Transition individuals into stable housing with wraparound care; and
  • Thrive by offering life skills, employment support and community networks.

Our services are rooted in dignity, inclusion, and hope. We provide practical, person-centred support that helps people move from instability to independence.

We help those experiencing housing instability, hidden homelessness, and exclusion. Our beneficiaries include migrants, young people leaving care, women escaping domestic abuse and individuals sofa surfing or living in unsafe conditions.

Why it matters: With thousands in temporary accommodation and many more in precarious living situations, Aspire offers a local, compassionate response to a growing crisis. Our work restores stability, confidence and belonging.

Volunteers are essential to our impact. Whether you’re helping at a drop-in session, supporting someone through a housing transition, or lending your skills behind the scenes, your time can change lives. Join us in building a future where everyone has a place to call home.

Our activities

Aspire Skills Development CIC meets its objectives by delivering a community-rooted, four-part approach to ending single homelessness in Redbridge and beyond. We work with individuals who are often excluded from traditional housing systems—such as those with no recourse to public funds (NRPF), care leavers, survivors of abuse and people navigating mental health challenges.

To achieve our mission, we:

  1. Prevent homelessness through early intervention, advocacy, and timely referrals.
  2. Respond to crisis situations with emergency accommodation, essential supplies and wraparound care.
  3. Transition individuals into stable housing with tenancy readiness training, legal support and mental health referrals.
  4. Thrive by empowering people with life skills, employment support and access to community networks.

Every service we offer is designed to restore dignity, promote independence and build long-term resilience. Through partnerships with local councils, libraries and community organisations, we create practical, inclusive pathways out of homelessness—ensuring that everyone, regardless of circumstance, has the opportunity to rebuild their lives.
