Our objectives
The primary purpose of Age UK Calderdale & Kirklees is to improve the quality of life of older people in general and older people in Calderdale & Kirklees in particular.
In the formulation and implementation of the strategy, Age UK Calderdale & Kirklees will structure its activities around providing the four functions of:

The way in which we behave and act aims to encompass the following values:

Our activities
We provide many different services to older people throughout the Calderdale & Kirklees, including:
- Advice and Information
- Advocacy and individual support
- Companionship Centres
- Domestic Services
- Befriending Schemes
- Handymen service
- Home from Hospital service
- and much more, including working with older people to campaign, influence and plan new services.
