Age UK Bradford District
Our objectives
Age UK Bradford District is an independent local charity supporting older people, their families and carers across the Bradford metropolitan district. We work to ensure that older people can live well, remain independent and stay connected to their communities.
Between April and September 2025, Age UK Bradford District supported 4,874 older people through 8,926 contacts and helped secure £454,104 in additional welfare benefits for local residents.
Our activities
· Provide information and casework support, including welfare benefits guidance
· Run six Community Hubs offering social activities, welcoming spaces and local support
· Deliver services that help tackle loneliness and isolation
· Support wellbeing, independence and financial security
· Work alongside volunteers, community groups and partner organisations to deliver person-centred, co-produced services
