Volunteer Coding Workshop Facilitator

Do you have professional experience in coding and computing? Could you support young people with learning how to code?

What will you be doing?

We are seeking skilled coding and technology professionals to design and deliver engaging, interactive workshops. This role suits confident communicators who are passionate about tackling educational inequality.

Facilitators will be involved in running bespoke workshops in coding and technology, lead activities and Q&A sessions, and collaborate with young people, volunteers, and ambassadors.

Workshops take place online and in person, requiring 2-6 hours per month.

What are we looking for?

As workshop facilitator you will need to:

  • Have passion, knowledge and experience in coding, computing and technology
  • Have strong presentation skills
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Be personable and able to confidently communicate with people from a range of backgrounds and professions.
  • Be passionate and committed to tackling educational inequality
  • Be punctual and organised
