What will you be doing?
Hurst Farm Regeneration Limited, trading as Hurst Farm Wild Works, is a charitable community benefit society established in 2022.
We want to improve the lives and environment of people living on the Hurst Farm Estate in Matlock, Derbyshire.
We have been working closely with Derbyshire Dales District Council on the delivery of the £1.2m National Lottery Heritage Fund funded Hurst Farm Heritage Trail project. The project has improved the existing footpaths around the Hurst Farm Woodland, connecting four heritage sites.
We are now planning for the next phase of activuty, working closely with local charity, The Friends of Hurst Farm.
We are interested in recruiting additional trustees to strengthen the Society’s existing Board which is responsible for areas such as governance, strategic planning, financial oversight, risk management and delivery of the organisation's mission and values.
Your experience may have been gained in the private, public and/or charitable sectors.
You do not need previous experience as a trustee.
All trustee roles are voluntary positions.

- Local residents to represent the Hurst Farm community
- Education, training and and skills development

What difference will you make?
Local residents are working with us to achieve our mission through a range of practical outdoor activities including woodland management, a community garden, dry-stone walling and bee-keeping.
