Social Media Volunteer

What will you be doing?

We are looking for a social media-savvy volunteer to help manage Start Young UK’s online presence, particularly on Facebook. This role will involve creating engaging content, growing our audience, and ensuring our messaging effectively supports our mission to empower young people.

As a Social Media Volunteer, you will take the co-lead in managing and enhancing Start Young UK’s online presence. Your responsibilities will include creating and scheduling posts, engaging with our audience, responding to messages, and helping to develop a social media strategy that increases awareness of our work. You will play a key role in promoting our events, fundraising efforts, and success stories.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience managing Facebook pages or other social media platforms.
• Strong writing and communication skills with an ability to create engaging content.
• Knowledge of social media strategies, analytics, and audience engagement techniques.
• Creativity, reliability, and a passion for supporting young people.
• The ability to work independently while aligning with the charity’s mission and values.
