Victoria County History (VCH) Shropshire  is seeking a  volunteer to lead our social media presence. The role will aim to provide and encourage wider access and awareness of VCH Shropshire research and activities through the use of digital platforms/social media.

What will you be doing?

We require an indvidual with familiarity and confidence in the use of social media platforms to develop our social media strategies. You will be responsible for creating and using multimedia content which is consistent with VCH Shropshire’s mission and values.
We want an indvidual who will manage and schedule posts on various platforms, and help to foster a loyal and supportive community that values personal attention and builds relationships with users/supporters.
Your role will also be important in supporting fundraising campaigns/events promotion. You will actively collaborate with VCH volunteers and researchers on content production and be very much included within an active media team.

What are we looking for?

As well as experience and confidence in using multimedia platforms we require that you have strong written communication skills and an ability to adapt tone for different audiences. That you are able to regularly manage and schedule posts on various platforms to maximise reach, access and awareness. Attend meetings to work with our committee and digital team.
