Become part of our equestrian community by offering mentorship to take our project into charity status.

What will you be doing?

We are a non profit community interest equestrian company that raises awareness of nonvisible disabilities, neurodiversity and health conditions. Promoting the many benefits of interacting with horses, horse riding and carriage driving.
Due to the success of our project “Carriage Driving For Our Community” we have now started our journey into charity status. We are passionate and wholeheartedly belief in this project. Many of our members use carriage driving as a coping mechanism to manage long term pain, without which they would really struggle. Because carriage driving is an amazingly inclusive sport, a member with disabilities can drive with a friend or family member as navigator. There’s no upper age limit, so retired members can take up carriage driving as a new sport.

What are we looking for?

Skills that can offer mentorship into developing the charity to be successful. Knowledge of the charity systems would be idea. Passion and energy to develop new ideas along side our directors. Experience in fundraising and raising awareness within a community

What difference will you make?

We are located just outside of Doncaster, between Bawtry and Tickhill at Plumtree Farm. The buildings date back to the 1800s and it’s a wonderful base to work from and for volunteers to enjoy.

Being part of supporting a community to come together in a shared goal is truly fulfilling. Even for a short period of time, distracting people from their pain, either physical or mental, is one of the most rewarding experiences there is. For clients that are wheelchair bound, driving a horse gives them freedom and excitement, a chance to compete at a wonderfully exhilarating sport and hobby.
