About Us:

MB Community CIC is a newly established social enterprise dedicated to supporting young people and communities in North East London. Through sports, mentoring, group sessions, and skills development programmes, we create opportunities for people to build confidence, stay engaged in education, and access positive support.

Role Overview:

We are at the start of our CIC journey and are looking for a creative and driven volunteer to lead on Marketing and Fundraising. Your support will help us raise awareness of our work, grow our audience, and secure the resources needed to deliver life-changing projects for young people. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a visible impact in a grassroots organisation while developing your own experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a marketing and communications strategy to promote our programmes and mission
• create engaging content (e.g., posts, newsletters, blog updates)
• Identify and support fundraising campaigns (e.g., online appeals, community fundraisers, partnerships)
• Help craft compelling messages to attract donors, supporters, and partners
• Monitor analytics and engagement to improve outreach and fundraising efforts

What are we looking for?

Experience in bid writing, grant applications, or fundraising

Strong writing and research skills with attention to detail

Understanding of the charity or CIC funding landscape (preferable but not essential)

Passion for supporting young people and community development

You help to Reduce  isolation, improve well-being, and provide opportunities that prevent negative influences like crime and exclusion.

Help MB Community CIC build relationships with funders and key stakeholders, increasing visibility and credibility.

Your work will directly contribute to reducing youth unemployment, increasing participation in sports, and empowering people to build better futures.
