HR/Recruitment Officer (Volunteer)
We are looking for a reliable and organised volunteer HR/Recruitment Officer to support our organisation with onboarding and recruitment.
What will you be doing?
DreamCatchers Worldwide UK supports vulnerable and underrepresented groups—particularly young people, students, seniors, and multicultural communities—through inclusive programmes spanning education, dance, tech for seniors, mindfulness, academic support, and work-readiness skills. We operate across the UK and New Zealand with a mission to inspire purpose, promote equity, and strengthen communities.
As a Volunteer HR & Recruitment Officer, you will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and supporting volunteers and team members across our programmes. Typical tasks include posting opportunities on recruitment platforms and social media, screening applications, arranging interviews, communicating with applicants, and helping maintain volunteer records and onboarding documents.
You may also assist with updating HR policies and documents, supporting training and compliance processes, and helping create a positive, inclusive, and supportive experience for volunteers within the organisation.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is organised, approachable, reliable, and passionate about supporting people within a purpose-driven organisation. Ideally, you’ll have experience in HR, recruitment, administration, or people management — but most importantly, you’ll bring professionalism, empathy, initiative, and a willingness to learn. Experience using email, spreadsheets, or Microsoft Office would be beneficial, but not essential.
You should be comfortable handling information professionally and confidentially, working independently and as part of a team, and bringing initiative and empathy to the role. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who believes in the mission of DreamCatchers Worldwide UK and wants to help us build a strong and supportive community.
What difference will you make?
By supporting the recruitment and wellbeing of volunteers and team members, you will play an important role in helping DreamCatchers Worldwide UK grow its impact and deliver meaningful programmes to the community. Your contribution will help create a positive and supportive environment where volunteers feel valued, organised, and empowered to make a difference.
Before you apply
We’d love to hear what specifically drew you to DreamCatchers WorldWide UK CIC—whether it’s our mission, programmes, or communities we work with.
