Grants & Fundraising Support - PWN 2026 Board

What will you be doing?

PWN London’s Board is composed of talented professionals who lead initiatives to empower women and promote gender-balanced leadership across industries. As we prepare for our 2026 term, we are expanding our focus on financial sustainability through grants, sponsorships, and fundraising activities.

We are seeking a Grants & Fundraising Support Trustee to join the Board and work closely with the Head of Corporate & Partnerships and the Events Team to help grow our funding base and ensure the continued success of our programmes.

The trustee will assist in identifying potential sponsors, donors, and grant opportunities aligned with PWN London’s mission. They will support the development of proposals and sponsorship packages, help cultivate relationships with funders, and explore creative fundraising ideas that bring together our corporate network, members, and community supporters.

A key part of the role will involve working with the Events Team to integrate fundraising elements into our existing and future events — whether through ticketed galas, raffles, charity auctions, or themed corporate collaborations. The trustee will also help ensure that fundraising activities are conducted transparently and in line with governance and compliance standards.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships and thinking creatively about how to generate resources for impact. What are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and relationship-driven professional with experience or a strong interest in fundraising, sponsorships, or grant development. The ideal trustee will be creative, persuasive, and comfortable engaging with both individuals and organisations to inspire financial support.

Experience in event fundraising, CSR partnerships, business development, or marketing would be a strong advantage. Familiarity with corporate sponsorship models, grant applications, or donor engagement strategies would also be valuable.

We’re seeking someone who enjoys collaboration and teamwork — especially with the Head of Corporate & Partnerships and the Events Team. The right person will bring fresh ideas for fundraising campaigns and community initiatives, balancing creativity with a clear sense of structure and accountability.

Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to craft compelling messages that resonate with potential funders. A proactive and positive attitude will go a long way in this role, as success often comes through persistence and genuine enthusiasm.
