We are looking for a volunteer to support PINT in applying for grants on behalf of the charity.

What will you be doing?

You will be responsible for identifying suitable grant opportunities, and managing the grant and fundraising application process from end to end.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is computer literate, with strong written and verbal communication skills and good attention to detail. Ideally we would love to work with anyone who understands the charity sector and has previous experience of grant writing/fundraising, but we are also very open to anyone who is willing to self teach about this area.

What difference will you make?

PINT (People In Need Today) helps those that are homeless and struggling to make ends meet. This can range from single parents, to elderly and vulnerable individuals to those struggling with disabilities. As a small charity, our work prides itself on supporting those who find themselves in desperate last-minute situations that are unavoidable.

A lot of the work we do at PINT is outreach work, providing various supplies such as hot meals, snacks and water, to those sleeping rough. We also provide aid for those locally in Westminster, Wandsworth and Lambeth, including regular support to the elderly and vulnerable. Every week we help between 600-700 people of various ages, ethnicities, and genders.

What’s in it for you? Volunteering at PINT is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in  the charity sector, develop your skills, and contribute to an amazing cause. There is however also the opportunity to receive up to 15% commission, for successful grants secured.

Before you apply

Please provide your CV so we can understand your skills and experience, and our volunteer HR manager will then be in touch to discuss further.
