We are a cetacean and ocean conservation charity and are seeking a new Trustee with expertise in fundraising to support the strategic growth and development of the organisation.

What will you be doing?

As the World Cetacean Alliance has just celebrated its 12 year anniversary our updated strategy for the next 3 years is to increase our presence and impact. The Trustee Board has a wide range of expertise but we are now seeking someone with the particular skills and experience who can bring networking connections to help build our partnerships, as well as help with identify new funding or promotional areas. The hope is that the volunteer would be able to step up to a Trustee role but a shorter-term involvement would also be helpful.

A key priority for the charity is to further build our reputation, presence and organisational sustainability.

The ideal candidate would have experience in funding and fundraising strategy as well as a network (or access to networks) that could help further the goals and mission of the WCA.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a Trustee that can help with the growth and reach of the organisation.

We are seeking someone who has experience in funding and fundraising strategy. As well as someone who, through their network, or access to wider networks, can help raise the profile of the organisation and build on the work we have done over the past 10 years.

Someone who shares our passion for animal welfare, ocean protection and conservation is essential!

What difference will you make?

You will support and shape our work and strategic direction, as well as help us achieve our purpose to protect cetaceans and their ocean habitats through a range of project and campaigns.

This is a vital role, helping ensure we can develop and grow. You will have a real opportunity to offer your unique skill set to help the strategic progression of the charity.
