Chiltern Compass is a mortality awareness and end-of-life planning charity. We attempt to persuade people to accept - in their hearts - that they are going to die and that they and their loved-ones would benefit from making plans around their death.

What will you be doing?

We all looking for someone who can take up the burden of fundraising so that we can extend our reach and support. Currently we put on public meetings in the form of interviews, workshops, presentations to single interest groups and have a website to maintain as well as written literature and promotional material.

Also our current treasurer is to retire at the end of the year

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who agrees with our aims and methods. Experience in fundraising and bookkeeping is important. Some knowledge of medicine, psychology, counselling or care-giving would be helpful

What difference will you make?

Having a dedicated fundraiser will free up other members of the team to concentrate on their designated roles. Increasing our funds will also allow us to develop new projects and renew our literature.

 

We will shortly require a replacement treasurer
