Fundraiser/Bid Writing Lead Officer

As the Fundraiser/Bid Writing Lead Officer, you will take the lead in drafting and preparing compelling bids on behalf of Advocacy & Capacity Development Association, working closely with the Board of Directors, and achieving significant and sustainable income with responsibility :-
- Research potential funding opportunities from foundations, government bodies, and other relevant organisations
- Develop and write grant proposals, ensuring they are tailored to the specific requirements of each funding opportunity.
- Present our projects and organisation in a clear and persuasive manner to maximise chances of success
- Closely work with Board of Directors designated Director to identify and develop funding opportunities, liaise with potential funders to assess their requirements and develop relationships and increased awareness and profile of Advocacy & Capacity Development Association.
- Maintain a database of funding applications and outcomes.
- Use online sources and local intelligence to research and build a database of national, regional and local funding opportunities.
- Monitor and respond to feedback from funders and make necessary adjustments to improve future applications
