Documentary Professional
We are a small charitable organisation that seeks to provoke participatory democracy via disruptive visual art. We're looking for Documentary practitioners based in Scotland to help produce and shoot a feature documentary.
What will you be doing?

- You will be supporting our Founder in producing an ongoing documentary based on HMS’ mission and journey to bring a bill through parliament.
- Provide assistance in operating & moving cameras, lighting or other recording equipment as is necessary.
- Support our Founder in identifying locations for filming, props, and identifying any suitable actors for the film.
Training & Guidance:
- You will be given personal, tailored training, direction and leadership by our Founder, a RSA & BFI fellow, and British Council Alumnus, with 20 years experience in the film industry. Our Founder will be your main point of contact.

- Someone who is interested in and passionate in developing their documentary production skills.
- Ideally, we are looking for someone who has already has some professional experience in operating film cameras and lighting equipment.

- Your work will directly help us fund and deliver bold civic art interventions and national democratic processes that aim to influence real policy change.
- We intend to have a broad audience and high exposure. If successful, your film would influence national debates and conversations around political issues.
