Complementary Therapist

We are seeking a complementary therapist with 3 years practise in their specialist area who can share their skills with our people and carers to enhance our offer to them and look after their wellbeing as well as support their clinical programme offered by our clinical team within MDSC.

What will you be doing?

  • Deliver complementary therapy sessions within agreed scope 
  • Support service development and innovation 
  • Contribute to learning environment (support students where appropriate) 
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary team

What are we looking for?

  • Must operate within defined scope of practice 
  • Must hold appropriate qualifications and registration 
  • Must not undertake activity beyond competence or indemnity cover 
  • Must adhere to all clinical governance frameworks 

Supervision

  • Clinical oversight from designated lead 
  • Clear escalation pathways 
  • Regular check-ins (proportionate to role) 

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications and registration 
  • 3 years experience in area of treatment
  • Proof of indemnity insurance
  • Compliance with safeguarding, H&S, and clinical policies
