Building a Social Media Team

What will you be doing?

Work as part of a social media team to share updates about our work, events and impact.

Collaborate with our team on social media campaigns.

Help grow our audience and engagement.

What are we looking for?

• Experience managing at least one of the social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
• Strong writing and communication skills with an ability to create engaging content.
• Knowledge of social media strategies, analytics, and audience engagement techniques.
• Creativity, reliability, and a passion for supporting young people.
• The ability to work independently as well as within a team while aligning with the charity’s mission and values.

What difference will you make?

By strengthening our social media presence, you will help increase awareness of Start Young UK, engage a wider audience, and attract supporters, volunteers, and donors. Your work will directly contribute to the charity’s growth, ensuring more young people benefit from our services and opportunities.

Interviews are normally conducted by a staff member and then if successful will be given a second interview with a Chair Trustee.
