Bid/ Grant Writer (Volunteer)

To help identify and apply for grant opportunities that align with our services. This role is suitable for someone with strong writing skills and an interest in funding and development.

What will you be doing?

  • Research and shortlist grant opportunities.
  • Assist with writing compelling funding applications.
  • Maintain a calendar of deadlines and requirements.
  • Collaborate with staff to collect supporting evidence and data.

 

Compulsory training and checks:

Enhanced DBS and Safeguarding Training 
We will accept current DBS and safeguarding training if it is relevant to the role and within the last 12 months. 

What are we looking for?

  • Strong written communication and research skills
  • Understanding of or interest in the charity sector and fundraising
  • Detail-oriented, methodical, and reliable
  • Previous bid writing experience
