Tell us what you think of the new Reach
Our Head of Digital Kit shares how you tell us what you like - and don’t like - about the new-look Reach platform.
It’s been about three weeks since the new-look Reach platform went live, and - with some of the initial hiccups out of the way - thousands of organisations and volunteers are now settling in and getting used to the changes.
It’s been heartening that so many of you have reached out to tell us that you love the new look, the way we’ve streamlined key forms, and how much easier it is to find things. But we’ve also heard that certain journeys are trickier to use, or that some smaller features you valued on the old site haven’t been brought over. We’ve heard, for example, that…
- Our inbox messaging window needs to be bigger, so it’s easier to draft messages.
- Some organisations would like better ways to filter the ‘Applicants’ page, to make it easier to shortlist candidates.
- Organisations would like to be able to filter their opportunities by who’s looking after what.
Although prototypes of our new site were tested with both volunteers and organisations, we know it’s impossible to get everything right - and so we’d love to hear from you about what else isn’t working for you, as well as what’s really helping.
Answer our four questions below, to tell us what you think.
Once we’ve collected feedback from our users, we’ll be prioritising any changes and letting you know what’s happening late November.
And thanks again for your support, engagement and patience while we figure things out. We’ve been bowled over by our community’s positive response to the new platform, and it makes us even more excited to bring you ongoing improvements.
