About me 

Hello! I’m Junita, and I’m an experienced communications and marketing professional based in London. *waves*

For the last six years I’ve been working for health and beauty brands in my home city, mostly designing marketing campaigns for new products, and managing the day-to-day running of our social media channels. In 2024 I went freelance, and now work flexibility on all sorts of projects - from designing flyers to developing content for Instagram.

I’m new to volunteering, but excited to get stuck in. My day job involves working with small businesses and individuals, so I’m practised at being creative when time and resources are a bit stretched. :)

What I’m looking for

• Organisations working on social justice issues: I’ve done some local campaigning with anti-racist groups and would love to support organisations working on these issues at a local or national level.
• Social media audits and strategy: I’m keen to offer advice to organisations on where their current social media is working and how they can improve, including how to use platforms like Facebook and Instagram more strategically.
• Developing campaign materials: I love design and would like to do more of it! I can work with teams to create materials for existing campaigns or work a bit holistically to develop campaigns myself.
