Zinat Fatima Papia (she/her)Environmental Researcher and Climate Change Analyst
I have over eight years of experience in environmental science and climate change impact analysis, specializing in governance, public policy, and sustainability. My work in Bangladesh with NGOs and research institutions has allowed me to develop expertise in environmental assessments, life cycle analysis, and climate policy evaluation, while focusing on climate-vulnerable communities. I bring strong skills in proposal writing, project management, and partnership development, having successfully collaborated with stakeholders across government, private, and community sectors.
As a volunteer, I’ve contributed to numerous initiatives, including the 10th Community Based Adaptation Youth Conference and natural resource management projects. These experiences have equipped me with teamwork, communication, and organizational skills, allowing me to engage with diverse groups while supporting critical environmental efforts.
I am passionate about sustainability and climate resilience. Volunteering offers a way for me to apply my expertise while connecting with others who share my commitment to building a more sustainable future. I am excited to contribute to projects that help communities adapt to the challenges of climate change and foster sustainable, locally led solutions.
I am seeking volunteering roles that focus on environmental sustainability, climate resilience, and community development. I am particularly interested in projects that address the impacts of climate change on vulnerable communities and promote locally led adaptation strategies. With my background in environmental impact assessment, climate policy analysis, and project management, I hope to contribute to initiatives that drive meaningful change. I’m eager to offer my skills in research, proposal writing, and sustainability assessments to help advance critical environmental and climate action projects.
