About me

I have worked in the Public Sector for over 10 years and managed multiple teams. I am a recognised Chartered Manager and a member of the Chartered Management Institute, a full member of the Institute of Leadership and Management and I have a Master's degree in Public Sector Entrepreneurship.

Board Level Experience

During my time as a member orporatimber of the F.E. South Essex College, I developed strategic decision making, voting on budgets, auditor reports, internal and external marketing, HR issues. The role also required an overview of planning and contractor negotiations and land procurement.  
 
As a Lay Member of the Lord Chancellor's , Essex Advisory Sub-Committee I was involved in selecting suitable magistrates from the applications received and making recommendations to the Lord Chancellor and the Ministry of Justice. I also provided Lay member representation on grievance panel

​​​​​I am keen to bring those skills to organisations that are looking for volunteers. I feel that it is the least I can do and that giving to the community is the least I can do.

 

What am I looking for

I am looking for either Board Level experience or project management as I feel that these are the areas where my skills reside.

I am keen to work with organisations linked to Housing, Mental or Physical Health, or, wider community issues such as Rehabilitation as these topics are of interest to me and I have some knowledge.
