I am available up to 4 hours per week. Mostly early mornings, lunch time, evenings or weekends.
I’m currently employed as a Development Manager for Living Streets, the UK charity for everyday walking. I lead on fundraising for projects to support vulnerable road users such as disabled and/or older people in a bid to improve inclusivity, promote walking and to reduce social isolation. Prior to this role I was heavily involved in sales and marketing duties alongside product development. This included writing copy for both the charity's website and Walk to School resources. Before Living Streets, I ran my own Nutritional Therapy and Personal Training business and wrote for women's fitness magazines on a freelance basis. I have a degree in Creative Writing (Winchester University) and am currently refreshing my skills with a Level 4 Copywriting course at the College of Media and Publishing. I have a personal interest in reducing social isolation and am currently attempting to write a novel with this theme at its heart!
I would like to build my writing portfolio and am looking to provide copy writing services. This includes writing blogs, news articles, web content, case studies, email content and copy for promotional leaflets.
I am particularly interested in mental health and wellbeing, women's rights, causes that support vulnerable people and anything that positively impacts the environment.
