I am a Chartered Accountant with broad skills across finance, taxation and general business matters. I have been a Finance Director in a large charity, so understand the workings and challenges of running a charity. I can provide technical expertise and practical guidance in matters pertaining to cash flow, year-end accounts and audits, tax issues (VAT particularly) and capital projects. I'd look to connect useful contacts, such as funders, supporters and beneficiaries from my wide network to any body I work with.
I would love to work with a charity that has a need for leadership level finance advice and support. I would welcome opportunities to mentor leadership teams, or finance teams in best-practices in the world of accounting and taxation. I am passionate about supporting the NW of England; I am proud of our region and want to do my best for the people in it.
