About me

I have over 20 years of experience in product management, digital strategy and delivery, Agile methodologies, operational management, project delivery and account management. 

I am passionate about driving diversity, inclusion, and belonging (DI&B) - I'm an active member of several working groups within my employer, Direct Line Group, including our BAME and gender strands.

There are two elements I am now working on as part of my own personal development and I hope finding the right volunteering role can help me continue to work toward this as well as help others.

1. I am on a development path learning more about the role of a board director and the responsibilities it carries. 

2. Alongside this, whilst I have added significant value to those organisations I have worked for; I feel I am also able to add value to my wider community by working with some of the charities delivering for their various causes. 

In terms of my location, whilst I live close to Maidstone, coming in to London or elsewhere for meetings is not an issue for me.

What am I looking for

I'm keen to help charities working to improve the lives and opportunities of people in need. As said above, I'm passionate about DI&B, so if I can help in this aspect, maybe by using the 'privilege' I was born with, or skills I've developed and my personal experiences, then I'm very happy to.

My skills gained in large and small organisations could help in a variety of ways. Examples include instilling a customer-first, digital mindset throughout an organisation and using it to grow this essential channel, developing and delivering strategies for business growth and improved effectiveness.
