About me

Having worked in senior executive positions for global technology companies for most of my career, two years ago, at the age of 52, I took early retirement and relocated to Dorset.

I am now seeking a trustee position; one where I can invest my time and skills and make a significant contribution to support others.

With extensive experience in all aspects of business management and strategic, I was responsible for leading companies with annual revenues of £1 billion and operating budgets of over £100 million.

This necessitated robust, budgeting, cost control measures and risk management, to ensure sales and profit targets were consistently achieved.

In addition, the ability to deliver extensive organizational change and restructure has been a major factor in the success of the organizations I have led.

Over and above my commercial responsibilities, I have always had a passion for major social and education initiatives. From 2013, I lead Samsung’s partnership with The Prince’s Trust. By giving access to technology, we sought to help disadvantaged young people acquire the life skills they needed. This included opportunities to develop their IT and coding skills.

Prior to this, I managed a five-year programme for Canon, with the V&A, providing education and training for young people in digital photography and the arts.

What am I looking for

I am open to consider a wide range of opportunities, however, organisations requiring support to grow and expand or in need of substantial change to adapt to new challenges are of particular interest.
