About me

My background is in freelance I.T. support for SMEs and home users, and before that, in 2nd-level support positions at big corporations. My professional experience includes Windows Servers, Computer Hardware, Microsoft Office, Office 365 Admin, Windows 7, 8 and 10, Networking, Routers, Hardware Installation and Repair, Customer Support, Deskside, Desktop Admin, Remote Desktop, Remote User Support. I am already helping charities with the use of this skillset. You may view my Linked In profile for details.I have certification as a MCSE (Microsoft Certified Engineer) and have a BSc in computer science and mathematics.

I am currently retraining as a software developer.

What I offer here are both my professional experience listed above and also my coding skills mainly acquired as a hobbyist, in Python, HTML, CSS, Linux engineering, Javascript, C++, and SQL. Of these skills I would describe my level as "strong" for the first four, going back ten years, and "beginner" for the last three. I have installed and customized Wordpress for my company website: The site is fully responsive - adaptive to different devices in order to be fully accessible.

I help The Fanconi Hope Charitable Trust (a member of Reach Volunteering) with their general I.T. issues. I have just completed simplifying their complex e-mail in a way that will save money.

I look forward to hearing from you!
