I worked for Deloitte, the world’s largest professional services firm, for 29 years, 13 years of which as a Partner. Having trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant, I worked with a wide range of businesses in various industries providing audit and financial advisory services. In 2003, I moved into an internal role and held a number of leadership positions with a focus on strategy development/implementation, strengthening cross-border client service, enhancing corporate governance, people development and mentoring future leaders.
Following a career break, during which I have provided voluntary consulting support to a national education focussed charity, I am now seeking further opportunities with charities and other not-for-profit organisations that will allow me to utilise my extensive leadership and financial experience.
I am looking for opportunities to share my extensive leadership experience in the corporate environment with the charity and not-for-profit sectors. I am primarily interested in trustee/board level positions, plus I would also consider appropriate ad hoc support or projects roles.
Charitable sectors that are of particular interest include those focused on social mobility, mental health and the arts/music.
