Weekday - evenings
At POCImpact I codirect and facilitate events/workshops to support and connect people of colour working in the social impact sector; alongside I also codirect our online well-being workshops.
At Artichoke, I was responsible for recruitment and data collection for Arts Council England; coordinated travel and accommodation to a team of 20+; and assisted the finance department with audits and bank reconciliation.
At Outset Contemporary Art Fund, I provided overall support to the team with planning, coordination and deliverance of various fundraising events and grassroots projects. I often assisted the Communications manager with maintaining Outset’s online presence, using programmes such as Hootsuite to plan and develop content for their various social media accounts.
I managed the Vancouver residency for two London based curators. I built strong relationships with the resident curators, and connected the curators to the directors of Vancouver Biennale, and secured further funding from the British Council based in England and Canada.
At Tate, I supported the team with the publicly engaged project, ‘But We Are Still Here’ in the Tate Exchange. I was responsible for collecting visitor reports; analysing all methods of evaluative material, including being involved in the final meeting with the artist, and translating and composing evidence into the final evaluative report for the project.
As I have varied experience coordinating and delivering events and workshops, I'm interested in gaining more experience in donor/prospect research, and fundraising strategy, to expand my skills in programme/project management and to further my career progression.
Passionate about philanthropy within the arts, I deem marginalised people gaining access to the arts as important; thus, I’m attentive to discussions about diversity, inclusion and accessibility.
