Evenings during the week to work remotely and up to 2 days a week in office. I am quite flexible.
I have been working as a lawyer in Brazil specialised in family law since 2009 and as a mediator since 2015. Last year I achieved the status of senior mediator after the completion of more than 200 hours of mediation meetings.
Besides, I moved to London to study Masters in Law. My first drawback about how is difficult to find reliable people to work on a voluntary basis was when I made my registration at a GP. After a few weeks of living in London, I signed as a blood donator and a few weeks later I received a letter from NHS stating that only 5 of 100 people who are able to give blood decide to do so, and I was one of them.
I have always been passionate about family cases and for this reason, I am currently working on my dissertation which is about international child abduction and relocation.
During my Masters, I have read about mediation in the UK and how it currently works which made me interested in acting in this field since I am living in London. I have been involved with mediation in Brazil and in the process of implementation of mediation after the role of the mediators was regulated by law.
Moreover, I am very proactive and committed. Therefore, I am a reliable person who will contribute to the community with my previous expertise. Nonetheless, I am always open to learning and also very easy to get along with (according to my ex-colleagues).
I would like to help society to resolve their issues. Whether as a mediator or with my legal experience, I want to be involved with family mediation, preferably or providing legal advice focused on child and families.
