I am usually available between 9:30 and 4, Monday to Friday.
I have worked in the field of substance misuse as a researcher, service developer and service commissioner for over 20 years with much of this work being undertaken across Greater Manchester. While some of this time has been with academic institutions most has been with charitable organisations working to develop services via research, service reviews, evidence reviews and service redesign to ultimately support individuals, families and communities in relation to substance misuse, mental and sexual health.
I am currently studying for a Master’s Degree in Pubic Health and would welcome the opportunity to apply both my previous knowledge and that acquired as part of my course to supporting others develop their services, activities or interventions. While I remain interested in the field of substance misuse I am keen to expand my experience relative to health and well being more broadly and also person and community centred approaches.
I am particularly interested in the development of voluntary sector health and well-being services and woudl welcome the opportunity to work alongside others to achieve this taking advantage of my skills and experience.
