Work history

About me

I am excited to apply for the HR Administrator, Recruitment Administrator, or Volunteer Coordinator position, as it closely aligns with both my experience and my career aspirations within the charity sector. With over 14 years of experience in customer service and administration, along with more than three years in the mental health sector, I bring a strong background in HR-related functions and volunteer coordination. Most recently, I worked with Hammersmith, Fulham, Ealing & Hounslow (HFEH) Mind as a Volunteer Coordinator within the People Services team.

I am a strong advocate for volunteering, as my own positive experiences have not only helped improve my mental wellbeing but also enhanced my skill set within the charity sector. I have a solid understanding of the laws and regulations surrounding volunteering and always ensure these are followed.

With many years of lived experience, I understand the barriers caused by mental illness and the impact it can have on a person’s quality of life. As a result, I pride myself on being a good listener and approaching others with empathy and compassion, both professionally and personally.

Interests:

  • Volunteering within the local community (Age UK, Bexley Snap, Fusion, and MHM Bexleyheath)
  • Listening to music
  • Watching films and TV series
  • Walking and jogging
