I have flexibility both within and outside office hours
For the past 15 years I have fulfilled the role of Group CIO/IT Director and advisor for a number of well-known organisations (both publicly and privately owned) and have successfully helped them navigate their move towards a more digital world. I have achieved this though working closely with the leadership team and building a consensus for change within a collaborative framework across the whole organisation.
Although a great deal of my work has been within the digital and technology functions I have also worked within commercial and marketing functions. I was employed by KPMG as a consultant for 8 years and am a qualified accountant (CIMA) and have a law degree (LLB). Along the way I also completed an MBA and an operations and supply chain MSc at Cranfield University.
My work has included introducing digital systems and processes to support a fresh, customer centric perspective. Emphasis on trust and service have been important factors in delivering the right outcomes. I have worked hard to ensure that the team involved in delivering the vision feel engaged and energised to undertake the tasks set out within a clear plan. Working closely with people at all levels of the organisation has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my career.
I am now at a stage in my career where I want to work for organisations with whom I share a common empathy. I would be keen to speak further if you feel that my skills would be of help to you and your team.
I am keen to find a role, on a voluntary basis, which supports a not for profit organisation. I believe I can help in supporting IT and digital teams. I am also a qualified Accountant and Company Secretary. I would like act as a Trustee or Governor.
