Monthly -3 hours incorporating Exec Board meetings
I have worked in both very large corporations and also very small businesses over the course of my career, where I have undertaken a variety of roles, mainly within the Marketing department. I now work in the HR Culture team for a large organisation where am the Diversity & Inclusion Lead looking after our Brand & Partnerships. I am responsible for building our external brand and reputation to be seen as an employer of choice and a role model externally. In my previous role, I provided SME business owners with non-financial support to help their business flourish - this was through training programmes, working with partners or helping them recruit university talent. As such, I have a extremely sound knowledge of the challenges and opportunities faced by businesses in the current UK economy, and looked to put measures in place to support them overcome these challenges (or indeed exploit the opportunities). This is coupled with the fact that I graduated from the Open University in 2013 with a merit in Masters in Business Administration, so have a sound framework of tools and techniques to apply to business strategy.
I have volunteered in the Girl Guiding community previously - including the role of Camp cook during a weekend away for a group of brownies.
I am keen to explore a non-exec/trustee role within a local charity. I have an interest in diversity and inclusion.
