Summary of work experiences:

2010-2012 I was teaching assistant for the module called ‘tourism management with the community approach’. This included:

  • providing reading materials
  • managing the discussion sessions
  • helping students to come up with research ideas and dissertation topics
  • marking assignments

2008-2009 I assisted the Birmingham University Alumni in the research conducted in order to understand the graduated students’ level and type of employment. My role was to:

  • conduct the survey using a questionnaire
  • organise the collected data and preparing them for analysis
  • do the initial analysis 

2004-2010 I was a member of Environmental, Social and Health Assessment (ESHIA) team for gas and oil projects in Iran. It was a qualitative focused field research and I was involved in:

  • conducting in-depth interviews and focus groups
  • organizing the collected data
  • finding the themes and conducting the second round interviews or focus groups
  • interpreting the themes and preparing the report of the findings
