I have always had a passion for public service and my recognition of the complex social impact of public sector operations has grown through the variety of a 12 year career with HM Prisons and Probation Service.
I am a senior leader with an excellent track record of leading large and diverse teams through major change programmes to deliver improved outcomes and opportunities, with a focus on excellence. My skills include managing complex operational challenges; improving performance and relationships; inspiring and motivating teams through change processes; creating innovative opportunities and delivering strong sustainable solutions. I enjoy working collaboratively across all levels to shape and achieve strategic objectives, championing diversity & inclusion and influencing for impact at pace. Additionally, as a people leader my strengths are coaching and developing others, setting and maintaining high expectations and empowering them to meet these.
I have a particular interest in influencing and improving outcomes and social inclusion for minority groups and women.
