Work history

About me

I am a bilingual and client-focussed project manager and facilitator, with experience designing and leading youth development projects in a multicultural setting. I have experience in the in the development, monitoring and evaluation of projects related to gender equality, sexual and reproductive health, children’s rights, gender based violence, public health and advocacy. I also have experience coordinating volunteers who work within the youth development field, providing induction, training and support. I am also a qualified social worker with experience in a child protection and non-profit setting, with skills in risk assessment and safety plan development, as well as advocacy and caseload management. Currently I work for Refuge, supporting survivors of gender based violence. This work includes the provision of emotional and practical support, as well as workshops around identifying healthy and unhealthy relationships.

What am I looking for

I am very passionate about youth development, especially related to gender equality, gender based violence, as well as sexual and reproductive health. I believe in the importance of working closely with young people to provide them with the tools and resources to promote equality and empowerment in order to advocate for themselves and live happy and healthy lives. Currently I am really interested in developing myself around the governance of organisation and I'm looking to apply to join a board of trustees for organisations working with young people.
