I have a full time job and a family, so I am available in the evenings, one or two times a week, for an hour or two.
I'm Matt, I'm an experienced lead software developer, but relatively new to volunteering. I have a programming career which I love. Like many software developers, I code in my free time as well, because it's fun, to learn new skills, and to stay up-to-date with technologies that I'm not currently using at work. I'd like to put that effort into helping good causes where I can. I want to give something back, while picking up some more varied experience along the way.
I'm interested in anything related to software engineering, programming, websites and databases. Primarily I'm a coder not a designer, but I'll give that my best shot for you if you've not got a logo, brand and images already. I'm going to be most useful at the technical aspects of setting up a responsive, quick, reliable, tested website. And it doesn't need to be a website either, you might be after some offline software you can run on your laptop, or some manual tasks automated in some way, anything is possible so please do get in contact.
