I am a long-serving professional in the asset management industry having held a broad range of roles including business head, chief operating officer and investment manager covering multiple asset classes including real estate and Islamic finance. My experience has been gained in both large, global organisations and a smaller, start-up bank.
I have a strong track record in business strategy and development; transformation and change; governance; compliance; finance; IT; risk (operational and financial); and people management and development, working within a highly regulated environment.
I am a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and have developed a strong reputation as a person of integrity who is respected for my technical knowledge and sought after as a mentor.
My volunteering experience includes being treasurer for a local cricket club and coaching boys football teams.
I am interested in roles where my broad knowledge in finance and management can be utilised while also offering the opportunity to broaden my own knowledge and skills in new areas.
Particular areas of interest are youth development and support, especially in the areas of education and sport, and financial education across all ages. However, I am willing to consider any opportunity where my experience can be of value and which offers the opportunity for myself to learn.
