I am currently studying full time so I have part days available throughout the week and weekends.
I am currently studying to complete my Masters in Human Rights at the University of Essex where I am participating in Human Rights projects abroad and being a student voice to the wider university ensuring that all issues are being raised and dealt with in an appropriate manner. I have previously worked as a Centre Director of a maths and English tuition centre where I would partake in engaging systems of education for children of all backgrounds and abilities. Within this role, social media marketing and advocacy was prominent - so knowing your target audience was a vital skill. I also volunteered for DeafBlind UK where I was able to help vulnerable citizens of society and ensure they were being able to keep their mental health levels high and engage with society as fully as they could. A lot of my work so far has been centred around helping those who are vulnerable and this is something I am super excited to continue to do!
I am looking for volunteering roles that will help me advance my skills in human rights promotion in lots of different ways, whether this is through promotion of human rights through online advocacy or engaging in research projects to help different global issues that are occurring. Being able to help improve lives is what I want to do and what I know I excel in.
