I have been a Director for many years and have experience in both SME and large international PLC operations. I feel that one of the key strengths I could bring to the trustee board is contributing to the development of a strategic plan and evaluate fundraising activities. In my current role I work with others to evaluate strategic and growth plans for organisations as well as work with board members to achieve greater diversity at board level . 

I have also worked with other charity organisations in this role evaluating their aims and objectives, assessing their collateral including websites, marketing information, fund raising strategy etc. to make sure their communication strategy is effective and represents who/what they stand for.

Contract negotiations is another skill I could bring to board where applicable having spent a large part of my working life in a commercial environment, negotiating with contractors and suppliers.

I have worked as a volunteer for a few years working specifically for those facing housing issues for many years.
