About me

I'm a qualified UX professional with a background in arts and education and a special interest in humane technology and digital learning. My aim is to work with others to design products and experiences that positively impact and enrich people's lives.

Key skills include:

  • UX research
  • UX/UI Design
  • Wireframing and prototyping
  • Proficient in Adobe XD/Adobe CC
  • Good working knowledge of Figma, Sketch, InVision, Html/CSS
  • Strong written/communication and team working skills

As a UX freelancer, I'm currently designing the user experience for a meditation and mindfulness app to accompany a popular course on Buddhism. In my work in as a university careers information adviser, I manage a wide range of digital resources encompassing digital communications, web and online learning.

With over 15 years’ experience in education, I've taught English in Madrid and London and since 2011 I've worked in Higher Education in roles encompassing student advice, disability support, web, communications and digital course design. I've spent many years learning to better understand and improve the student experience and this has shaped my interest in creating products that facilitate learning and personal growth.

What am I looking for

I'm looking for UX/UI roles where I can contribute my broad skills and expertise in all aspects of user experience from user research to interaction design, as well as learn and further develop my knowledge through working with others. I'm especially interested in collaborating on digital projects that involve helping people to learn, develop new skills or improve their day-to-day lives.
