I’m a tech-focused private equity investor with extensive experience sitting on company Boards, supporting with strategic, operational and financial initiatives. At the start of my career, I qualified as a corporate lawyer before moving into investment banking and private equity, so have foundational legal skills as well as extensive financial skills.
I have zero volunteering experience and would like to change that as soon as possible.
I have three children (6, 4 and 2 years old), who are reaching an age now where my wife and I have enough headspace to devote meaningful time to volunteering. At least that’s my excuse for not starting sooner!
I’m extremely excited to start using my skills to make a difference and for volunteering to become a permanent feature of what I hope will be the most productive decades of my career. I am particularly interested in international charities helping the most disadvantaged people globally.
In addition to keeping active and social, I am passionate about languages, travel, food, wine and books.
I hope I can be of some use to an important organisation soon.
I am particularly interested in international charities helping the most disadvantaged people in the world.
At a functional level, I would like to use the financial skills I acquired in investment banking, private equity investing and company portfolio management to support organisations in areas such as treasury and financial planning.
Over time, I would hope to leverage my Board experience to contribute more broadly to strategic and operational topics. I appreciate that consistent hard work and engagement are required to contribute meaningfully here and am excited to take on the challenge.
